Italian Visitors: Clicca qui per le informazioni in italiano sulla FeLV

Although feline leukemia remains an incurable viral disease that threatens the lives of thousands of domestic as well as wild cats each year, newer methods for treating this disease have become more readily available. The most effective drugs used today include:

  • ImmunoRegulin,
  • Acemannan,
  • Interferon Alpha,
  • Staph Protein A,
  • Holistics.
  • Other Options
  • Please use the navigation buttons above (or text links at the bottom of each page) to find out more about FeLV, these drugs, FeLV-related links and much more.

For those who would first like an overview of what feline leukemia (FeLV) is, how it is transmitted, and how to protect their feline babies from it, please visit the Feline Leukemia Virus FAQ from Cornell University. This is a very informative compilation of facts relating to FeLV, and it is recommended reading for those who are just starting their research into feline leukemia.

Many thanks to those who have been central figures in making this project a reality. These people include: Steve Booker, Joan Doljan, and Barb Stock. A very special thanks also goes out to Kathy Giddings for her wonderful support and words of encouragement. Thanks also to Belinda Sauro and Brenda Smith for all of the hard work they're doing here. This project is dedicated to my beloved Vyvyan, Bambi (Steve Booker), Newton & Kallie (Barb Stock), Puff (Joan Doljan), and the many other cats who have suffered along with them (and who are now waiting for us at Rainbow Bridge) because of this devastating disease. Sincerely, James G Wilson
